1 . J Last night there was a large attendance I at the schoolroom, Upper Riccarton, where Mr E. W. Seager exhibited views of the Pink . ; and White Terraces and the localities \ '• affected by the recent volcanic eruptions. , Mr Maude gave an explanatoiy lecture 1 accompanying the views. In addition to the above, a number of views of the ruins of Pompeii were shown, and explained by j the Rev CroaedaUe Bowen.
