Parliament Out of Session.
MB PEARSON AT NORTH LOBURN. ~ Mr Peabson, M.H.E., addressed a meeting of his constituents at North Lobnrn on Saturday evening, and met with a most oourteouß reception. A3 the address was given by special request, and it being the last time he would meet the electors before the opening of Parliament, there was a very Isrge attendance. Among the questions put was one by Mr O'HXuioEAV, with reference to opening ~up the large reserves of Crown landß in the Ashley district for settlement purposes. Mr Pzabson expressed his ontire concurrence with the questioner's views as to the desirability of opening up the land, and he" promised to give the matter his careful attention. A vobe of thanks fend confidence, proposed by Mr O'Hailoran, and seconded by Mr Barwell, was unanimously carried, •with a vote of thanks to Mr E. Philpott for acting as Chairman, and the meeting then terminated. MS MONTGOMERY AT GOVERNOR'S BAT. Mr Montgomery addressed his constituents at the schoolroom on Tuesday evening, the Rev W. P. Knowles in the chair. Mr Montgomery was well received, and frequently applauded during his address, at the conclusion of which a vote of thank 3 and confidence was moved by Mr Cowan, seconded by Mr Allen, .md unanimously carried. i
