COURSING.

PLUMPTON PARK MAY MEETING. A. fair number of coursers assembled at the Empire Hotel laat evening to witness the draw for the above Club's May Cup and St Leger Stakes. The entries, probably owing to the close proximity of the Waterloo Cup, were not as numerous as anticipated, thirteen being nominated for the May Cup and eleven for the Leger. Still, a very fair class of dogs is represented, and interesting contests are looked forward to. The draw resulted as follows : — THE MAT CUP. for an unlimited number of allaged dogs, at £3 10s each. There was no straight out betting, but considerable speculation took place in doubles.
