COURSING.

CANTEEBUitT COUESING CLUB. A meeting of the Comaiittee of the above Club was held at the Britannia Hotel last night, Mr J. Goodman in the chair. May 24 (Queen's Birthday) was the date fixed for the next meeting. Two stakes will be competed for, viz., the Members' Plate, for all ages, the property of members of the Club, at 2gs each; and a Puppy Stake, open, at lg. Mr Bailey has again placed his paddocks at the disposal of the Club. Entries close at The Shades at 8 p.m. on May 21, the draw taking place immediately afterwards. PLUMPTON PABK CLUB. Owuori and trainera should bear in mind that entries for the St Lcger and May Cup close at 9 p.m. on May 11. at tne Empire Hotel. Christchurch.
