HAREWOOD ROAD.

The householders' meeting of thiß district waß held at the schoolroom last evening. After a protest, Mr Mulligan (schoolmaster) was voted to the chair. The Inspector's report was then read, and was of a most unfavourable nature. Also, a letter from the Board of Education, stating that the school would be re-examined after six months. The discussion on the report gave rise to 6ome strong comments, and the proceedings at one time were of a most boisterous nature. The election of a new Committee resulted as follows: — Messrs Karanch, Nun week, Stanley, Strange, Hill, Brean, and Etherington. llr Stanley was re-elected Chairman for the ensuing year.
