THE GOVERNOR AT AUCKLAND.
TRAMWAY COMPANY. AUCKLAND, March :ji. The Hinemoa, with the Governor on board, arrived at Mauakau this morning, Hia Excellency was met at Onehnnga by tho Onehunga Volunteers, and at the Auckland railway station the Auckland Corps receired him. He was welcomed by the Mayor. After inspecting the Volunteera His Excellency drove to Government Houbo. The annual report of the Tramway Company shows that during the year they
carried one million passengera. The fareß produced .811,443, and the advertising J8330. Total receipts, £11,782 ; working expenditure, £10,143 } balance, J1638. CASWELL SOUND MARBLE j COMPANY.
