' The Rev James M'Kee was elected a Governor of the Waimate High School, | in the room of Mr E. Wakefield, resigned. | AKABOA HIGH SCHOOL. A letter was read from Mr W. B. Tosa- ' will, Chairman of the Akaroa High School ' { Board, Btating that the term for which Mr , | 8. Watkins had been elected a member of , | the Board had expired, and that a fresh ' election was necessary. The Chairman 6tated that the election ( would take place at the next meeting. Izard leci turerin law, for Canterbury College for , the year 1886, on the same terms as for the ' previous year. XBTIKATBS. The Board then went into Committee to [ consider the estimates for the ensuing year. On resuming, the Chairman reported [ that the estimates for the Museum, School of Art, Public Library, and School of Agri- | culture had been passed in Committee. | The estimates passed were approved. NEXT MBHTING. It was arranged that the meeting of the Board which would fall on Easter Monday should not take place. ' The Board then adjourned.
