Serious Rioting at Liege.
Sacking and Pillage. The Bulgarian Difficulty[Ueut'mb'B Telegkamb.] [Recced Maroh 20, at 12.30 p.m.! BRUSSELS, Mabck l!l. Serious rioting occurred at Lieg» yesterday, on tho occasion of a demonstration of Socialist agitators and unemployed labourers. A large number of windows were smashed, and shops were sacked and pillaged of their contents. A largo force of gondarmie endeavoured to quell the outbreak, and charged the mob several times, eventually cowing tho rioters and making over a hundred arrests. The amount of damage done cannof; yet be estimated, but it is known to be immr-nse. [Liefce, whinh Las been called th» "Birmingham of Belgium," is a citj ot 120,000 inhabitants.
