METHVEN.
Yesterday tho nomination of members for the Mount Hutt Licensing Committee was held at the Road Board office, Methven. At noon the only nominations received fly the Returning-Officer (Mr Mainwaring) were Messrs D. Cameron (Springfield) and D. Quinn, consequently the election lapsed, and the Governor will have to appoint a Committee for the ensuing year.
