JOHNSON AND JOHNSON V. M'GILL. The action Johnson v. M'Gill was 1 tried yesterday in the District Court, for the recovery of £100 damages, before His Honor Judge Ward and a jury of four. The plaintiff was the pupil teacher Oscar Johnson, who some months ago was arrested by the defendant, Constable M'Gill, on a charge of assaulting a child by poking her with the stick used by him as a pointer.
