BROOMFIELD.
A meeting of the Committee of the ! Broomfield district school was held en . Tuesday evening last, Feb. 23 ; present— Mr [ C. W. Purchas (Chairman) and the whole . of the Committee. The Chairman reported '. that the pump, and piping of the well had [ been repaired. The Chairman was re- . quested to forward the bill to the Board of \ Education. The Chairman was also re- , quested to apply to the Board for a grant . to erect a coal and wood house, also to , apply for new blackboards for the use of ' the school. The master's report on the . school was read, and considered satisfact tory. The application of Miss A. Crampton t for cleaning the schoolrom was accepted.
