CHRISTCHUECH NORTH-EAST.
The result, as in the other City districts, was that the gentlemen composing the Committee last year were re-elected by very large majorities. The votes polled for each candidate were as follows : — R. J. S. Harman ... 288 J. Y. Eoss 215 F. J. Kimbell 208 C. P. Hulbert 205 F. H. Barns 203 T. Dahks 139 J.L.Scott 125 J. Lamb 115 W. Tremayne 112 The first five have been declared duly elected, and Thursday, March 4, appointed as the day, and the City Council office as the place, for the Committee to meet and elect a Chairman.
