ACCIDENT TO A HARBOUR MASTER.

OAMARU. Feb. 20. The ship Turakina was towed round from Port Chalmers to-day, to load with frozen ii^at here. On entering the harbour, tho tow rope by some means slipped, and Captain Sowell, the Harbour Master, who was standing on ihe forecastle of the ship, was struck on the leg by the rope, and sustained a fracture of the limb between tho knee and the ankle.
