In the House of Representatives last night, Sir John Robertson brought forward a vote of censure on Goverament for their Budget proposals. After considerable discussion the i debate was adjourned, as Government j I was unprepared for the motion. The | proceedings during the evening were j jof a lively character, personalities j i being freely exchanged between i Beveral speakers. I On the Legislative Assembly meet- ! ing for business this afternoon the . Premier, Mr Dibb_, announced that : Government, finding they did not i possess a working majority in the ; House, had decided to resign. Mr ' Dibbs also stated that the Ministry, ; in placing their resignations iv tne [ hands of the Governor, had advised His Excellency to send for Sir John : Robertson.
