QUEENSLAND.
I A bushranger named Eiley has been shot dead by the police. Testimonials have been presented by the passengers of the Cahors to Captain South, master of the steamer Burwah, and also to the second officer of that vessel. One passenger lost £ 1000 worth of property, and another i>l4oo through the wreck. Ministers are meeting with a good reception in the north.
