CHRISTCHURCH BICYCLE CLUB.

■» A meeting of this Club was held last night at the Central Hotel. The question of holding a race meeting on May 25 was discussed, but the decision postponed for a week. Mr E. Spencer was elected a member of the Club. This was all the business, and the meeting adjourned for the presentation of prizes. Mr Sandstein, President of the Club, said it gave him great pleasure to hand the prizes to the respective winners, viz : — Two Mile Eoadster— L. Stokes, 1 ; N. F. Hall, 2. Maiden Eace— N. F. Hall, 1 ; L. Stokes, 2. Hurdle Eace — A. Lowry, 1 ; J. Martin, 2. Tricycle Eace — A. Clarkson, 1 . One Mile Eace — C. Eeece (gold medal), 1 ; P. E. Baldwin (Dunedin), 2. Five Mile Eace— C. Eeece (gold medal), 1; P. E. Baldwin (Dunedin), 2. Ten Mile Eace — P, E. Baldwin (Dunedin, gold medal), 1 ; C. Recce (silver medal), 2. Consolation Eace — A. Warren, 1 ; C. Myhre, 2. Juvenile Tricycle Eace — Master Eeece, 1. Juvenile Bicycle Eace — Master Martin, 2. In addition to the above, A. Sharland, Master C. Nedwill and Master Simpson have had their prizes delivered to them. A very pleasant evening was spent by all present. The following toasts were duly honoured : — " The Christchurch Bicycle Club," coupled with the name of the Captain, Mr Oates ; " The President ; " " Successful Competitors," coupled with the name of Mr Eeece ; " Unsuccessful Competitors ; " " The Pioneer Club," responded to by Messrs Lowry and Langdown ; " " The Secretary, Mr Oakey ; " and " The Band."
