Licensing Elections.
SOUTH RAKAIA. On Tuesday the following were nominated as members of the Committee for the ensuing year : — Messrs Lyttelton, Coster, Chamberlain, Holmes, Allan, and Mutter. There was not the least interest taken in the district. Mr Mutter withdrew his nomination, and the first five were, therefore, declared duly elected. The members forming the Committee are hose lately in office. ELLESMERE. The following persons were nominated yesterday :— W. J. G. Bluett, John Boag, John Barnett, J. R. Campbell, John Campbell, W. D. Lawrence, Lewis Mathias, Frederick Overton, Henry Oveiton, R. G. Park, G. C, Waby. The poll for the election of five of the above will be taken on Tuesday next.
