• Noble Pheasant Breeder : " Why, Baggs, why— eh ?— what the doose is this ? Why, the birds can't fly !" Baggs : " Well, they are a bit lardy, my lord, and I won't deceive you. It's all the childer as makes pet on 'em, and they will be feedin' of 'em between meals, and that's a fact, my lord."
