[Ueuteb's Telegrams.] LONDON, Jan. 26. ITo confirmation has yet boon received of tho report that an AngloGerman Conference is to take placo on the Pacific annexation question. The cargo of 7000 carcases of frozen mutton from New Zealand, ex steamship Victory, was landed in good order. Lord Wolseley telegraphs from Korti that there is no cause for anxiety as to' the position of Colonel Stewart and his column. A man named Gilbert, an IrishAmerican, who was arrested on Saturday in connection with the explosions at the Tower, has been examined at Bow street Police Court, and remanded for a week. CAIEO, Jan. 26. Telegrams from Korti state that General Earle's column has reached the Fourth Cataract on the Nile. WASHINGTON, Jan. 26. In the Senate to-day, resolutions expressing abhorrence of the dynamite outrages recently perpetrated in London were passed. LONDON, Jan. 27. The police are pursuing an important clue to the identity of the men who were engaged in the dynamite outrages, and eight persons are now being closely watched.
