Wesleyan Conference.

[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Jan. 27. An Ordination Service was held last night in Trinity Church, when the Revs Garland, Slnde, Parsonson, and Pinfold were ordained to the work of the ministry. There was a large congregation. The charge was delivered by ex-President Morley. A short ministerial session of the Conference was held this morning, when arrangements were made for the appointment of home missionaries. The Board of Examiners for the year was appointed, and this closed for the present the ministerial session. The United Conference assembled at 10 o'clock. Representatives from all the districts of the Colony, except Wanganui, were present. An address of welcome was delivered by the President. An application to form Kaiapoi, Eangiora, and Woodend into one circuit was negatived. An amendment by Mr Morley to unite Woodend and Kaiapoi with Ohoka into one circuit was carried. Gisborne was transferred to the Wellington district. A motion to form Pareora into a separate station was negatived.
