Christmas Festivites.

THE POLICE STATION. Those members of the Police Force who have entered into the married state may be presumed to have enjoye'd Christmastide, so far as their duties would allow, in the bosom of their families ; but the bachelors, who have quarters at the station, kept holiday on their own account. They met at dinner at 1 p.m., when the chair was taken by the veteran Sergeant Wilson. Several toasts, including that of the Chairman, were honoured in proper Btyle, and with these and songs by those guardians of the law who are musically inclined, a couple of hours were wiled away very pleasantly.
