ST MATTHEW'S.
Very pretty were the decorations at the church of St Matthew's, Knightstown. The altar-rails and choir-stalls were nicely decorated with conifera and white blossoms, while the font was crowned with lilies and ferns. Tho services were conducted by the "Eev J. W. Stack, and comprised choral evensong at 9 o'clock on Christmas Eve, early Communion yesterday at 7 a.m., and choral service at 11 a.m., when the rev gentleman preached from Luke i., 68. There was a good congregation at this service, and the concluding service at 7.30 p.m. wa3 fairly well attended.
