The Grange Club of Dunedin are sending up a team this week to play Lancaster Park. The G.C.C. is one of the best junior clubs in Dunedin, being undefeated last year. On Saturday the L.P.C. juniors second played the Ashbourne C.C. second eleven, and won by 23 runs on the first innings. Scores— L.P.C, 72 ; A.C.C., 44. CANTERBURY BOWING CLUB. The racing in connection with this Club's Trial Pairs and Single Sculls was continued and finished last evening. Ee=nits: — Tbial Paibs. Pinal Heat. — J. Laurie and W. Macbeth (R. Eees cox) beat Colebrook and Baird (M'Clenahan cox). Baird unshipped his scull at the start, and the other crew, getting a good lead, were never collared, finally winning by three lengths. Single Sculls. Fifth Heat. — J. Grierson (scr) beat A. L. Smith (4 lengths). Smith held his lead to Cowlishaw's. Fouling the bank here, Grierson went to the front, and held the lead to the finish. Won by one and a quarter lengths. Sixth Heat. — F. Dunnage (G lengths) beat M. Lean- (i lengths). Dunnagtf kept his advantage all the way, and won easily. Final Heat. — F. Dunnage (6 lengths) boat J. Grierson (scratch). At Cowlishaw's, Grierson had wiped off a couple of lengths, but going badly round the corner, Dunnage still held a commanding lead. At the bridge, Dunnage got into difficulties by fouling one of the piles, and Grierson got to within three lengths. Once clear, however, Dunnage went away, and finished up a winner by BOine half a dozen lengths.

BICYCLING. Tho race meeting of the Christchurch Bicycle Club will be held at Lancaster Park this evening. There are four races to be contested, and owing to the large number of entries they will be run in heats. A procession of bicyclists will leave Cathedral square for Lancaster Park at 5. .'10, and the racing will commence punctually at G o'clock. »
