THE OSPREY.

NELSON, Nov. 2G. A correspondent writes to the Colonist that he can positively state that the threemasted schooner Osprey arrived at Auckland in July, 1848, with a detachment of soldiers from Hobart. The troops were composed of the 58th and Gsth Regiments, and were under the command of Lieutenant Bangelgate, of the 65th. The writer was on board the vessel himself.
