BAND CONTEST.
OAMAEU, Nov. 24. At a meeting of the Caledonian Society, held to-night, it was decided to endeavour to arrange for a band contest to take place in connection with the annual games of the Society on Jan. 1 and 2. Substantial prizes will be offered, but definite arrangements have not yet been made.
