Colonial French.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAB. Sib, — " Colonist," in a letter to the Tress this morning on the subject of frozen meat begins by quoting " II faut reculer jpovr mieux santer." My friend " Colonist* 'will allow me, as an old Frenchman, to correct his spelling. It is not " reculer/' "but " re-cooler," which every one knows is the French for refrigerate. Hoping to be forgiven for my little correction. — I am, &c, MOSSOO.
