TECHNICAL POINTS.
AUCKLAND, Sept. 10. John H. Field, a printer, was, at the Police Court, charged with publishing printed papers not bearing his imprint. The case was dismissed on a technical point. Sydney Tawhenga proceeds to Wellington to-morrow in connection with his petition. An election in Piako County has been invalidated through a person not properly appointed acting as Returning Officer.
