Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— Saturday, August 16. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape of Good Hope, Natal (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Northern Forts of New Zealand, &c, per s.s. Kingarooma, as follows :— Ordin«»ry letters, at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; hooks and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard's Tan, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail ■will do due in London on Sept. 27.
