The Company have made arrangements with some of the Leading Manufacturers in Great Britain, and will be in a position to supply Consumers with Goods at a Shade over Manufacturers' Cost Price. The Company have been fortunate in securing those centrally situated Premises known as KIVER'S BUILDINGS, Cashel Stbeet, and now occupied by Mr C. R. Church, Draper, The Company intend enlarging and improving the premises as soon as practicable. These alterations would be proceeded with at once, but having secured a large shipment of New Spring Goods, they are forced to use the present premises for the disposal of the same. When in full operation it is the intention of the Company to give every encouragement to LOCAL INDUSTRIES, And will from time to time place before the Publio Purchases of Locally - made Goods at Mill Prices. All Goods will be marked in PLAIN FIGURES, So that the Public will know at a glance the price of any article. As the Company intend conducting their business on the CO-OPEBATrVE MUTUAL PRINCIPLE, The Public will derive a direct benefit by making their purchases at the COMPANY'S STORES. The Company have appointed MR C. B. CHURCH, Manager, and WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS ON MONDAY, SEPT. 1. For further particulars see advertisements. Also, extract from the " Press " :— New Soft Goods Company.— A local Company on the principle of a Co-operative Society, has been formed for the purpose of importing general drapery from the manufacturers, and selling it direct to the consumer. This Association, which is to be called the Direct Drapery Importing Company, have arranged to take over the stock and Premises now occupied by Mr C. R. Church, draper, lashel street, and known as Kiver's Buildings. It is the intention of the Company to make extensive alterations and improvements to the same. The Company will also be a good outlet for locally made goods, as it is their intention to give OTery encouragement to the local milk. The Company commence operations early in September. In consequence of the above, C. R.
