CONSERVATIVE DISAPPOINTMENT.

The Press of yesterday morning- claimed! that the new Ministry ought to hare n fair trial. The Press of this morning discoversthat the new Ministry is a RadicaliMinistry, and " must count upon finding; themselves confronted at an early date: by an able and numerous Opposition." Our cor_be_aporary says : — " A great many people aro disappointed that Sir Julius yogel has consented to occupy a subordinate position in any Cabinet,, more especially that he has agreed to allow Mr Robert Stout, the Radical leader* to be placed over him as Premier. * * * Many persons arc at a loss to. comprehend how such a condition of affairs was ever brought about. They cannot be induced to admit that the natural outcome of the general election is. the accession to office of what may be described as the Radical party, with whatever amount of Conservatism Sir Julius Yogel and Mr Richardson are able to give it. * * * Sir Julius Yogel found himself compelled, as far as he could see, to associate himself with the Radical leaders. * * * It would surely be a misuse of the term to describe tho Stout Ministry as a Coalition Government, inas_auch as it is claimed to. ho simply an
