Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) : — Tuesday, August 12. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. Thursday, August 14. For OtagOi per Bingarooma, at 11.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, at 11.40 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Hanroto, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, August 16. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape of Good Hope, Natal (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., per b.s. Bingarooma, as follows :— Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on Sept. 27.
