In the cricket match at Clifton, Scott, in the first innings of the Australians, was the highest scorer with 179, bowled. In the second innings, the Gloucestershire score stood at 230, with two wickets down, when play ceased. Brain scored 108 (lbw) and Pullen 68 (not out). The attendance was good, but the weather was ; inclement, and play was frequently stopped by showers.
