This Day. (Before E. Beetham, Esq., E.M.) Drunkenness. — Alfred Piper, who had been found drunk on the South Town belt last night, and roused the neighbourhood by hia screaming and crying, was convicted, and fined 10s. — Two first offenders were each lined ss. Breach of the Peace. — W. J. Wilson i . and Nicholas Smith were charged with j fighting in Colombo street at 10.30 p.m. on Monday. They admitted the charge, and vere each fined 10s, or d 8 hours' imprisonment in default.
