Applications for Patents.
The following applications for patents are gazetted : — Thomas Danks, of Christchurch, engineer, for " Improvements in apparatus for preventing waste of and for supplying water in fixed quantities to any place desired, to be called Danks' Waste Water Preventative." Also, "For improvements in overflow pipes, to be called Danks' j Patent Overflow." { Alfred Price, of Thames, for " A safety catch." John Douglass, of Hampden, Otago, for " a compound link-cutting machine." | James Lees, of Oamaru, sheep farmer, for '•' Brake or signal shafts." Arthur Charles Andrews, of Sydenham, for " A machine for the manufacture of paper bags, to be called Andrews' patent T-shaped paper bag-making machine."
