GILLIES AGAIN.

[aPECIAti TO THE ""STAR."] DUNEDIN, Jan. 9. Another ohtfracteristic letter from the Bey A. C. Gillies appears in this morning's Times. The Rev Mr Ross wrote pointing out that Mr Gillies was not in order in raising a question as to the accuracy of minutes after tho Bame had been confirmed. To this Mr Gillies replies in a letter headed " Poor Mr Ross," in which he says Mr Rosa made a sorry exhibition of himself, reminding one of Moore's little man who had a little soul ; that Mr Ross' boyishness is a thousand legal miles away | irom the real question ; that he (Mr Gillies) appeals to lawyers, Judges and men, not to boys : and other equally complimentary expressions.
