♦ ' — The Sydney Conferenoe. [Rbutsr's Tbligbams.] SYDNEY, Dec. 8. The session of the Intercolonial Convention oloaed at noon to-day. Most of the delegates leave Sydney this afternoon. At the final meeting this morning Sir George Des Yobux's motion for preventing unrestricted purchases of land in New Guinea and Pacific Islands was adopted. A resolution proposed by Mr Whitaker, that criminals should be prohibited from landing in Australian Oolonies, was also carried.
