LONDON, Nov. 29. Mr Archer, Agent- General for Queensland, hopes that the work of inscribing the Colonial loan will be commenced about the middle of January. The New Zealand Shipping Company has ordered the building of two more steamers of larger size. The English Cabinet has offered to nominate Mr Gosohen as Speaker of the House of Commons when Sir Henry Brand retires. Attention having been called to the fact that the dates of the South Kensington and Adelaide Exhibitions will olash, H.R.H. the Prince of Wales has replied that the arrangements for the former having been settled, he is now unable to make any alterations in regard to them.
