Pushing the Transportation of Criminals Bill.
[Reuter's Tklsgrams.] Ltteceived Nov. 24, at 1.10 p.m.] MELBOURNE, Nov. 24. The Hon James Francis, who has been in bad health for some time past, has suffered a relapse, and his condition is again very critical. The Agent- General for Victoria in London, has telegraphed to the Government that the French Cabinet have deoided to proceed with the Transportation of Criminals Bill, notwithstanding the recent rejection by the Senate of the principal clause.
