Reported Discovery of Tin at Mt. Somers.

» ! It is reported that a party of prospeotors from Ash burton hare discovered a deposit of tin ore at Mt. Somers, about eight miles from the scene of the supposed diamond discoveries. A sample of the ore was, it is stated, submitted to Professor Bickerton, who has pro* nounced it rich in tho metal.
