The ship Timaru, Captain Follarton, 93 days from London, arrived this mornin*. During the Tousage an event ooourred which oast a gloom over ill on board for several daiß. On June 28 John Taylor, tha chief steward, was found to be missing, ana it appeared that he jumped over the side of the vessel, ard was drowued. The occurrence was aot witnessed by anyone, and deoe»Bed was not adMed for newly an hour. Taylor, who hid been drinking slightly for some daya previous, w»s otMired to be in a despondent mood for several am» prior to the time the Eai affair took place, DtraxDnc, July 26.
