EHtTHKBNKEaa.— EIIen Mitchell, who bad been arrested for drnnkenness in Antigua street, was sent to gaol for one month as an habitual drunkard.— Two women and a man, first offenders, wero fined 5j each. — Patrick M'Cann was charged with drunkenness. The aooused, it appeared, had been arrested by Constable Scott in Victoria street at 4 o'clock this morning, he had but little olothing on, and a bludgeon in his hand. In reply to the constable, he stid ho was going to a contract at KaiapoL Bemanded till tho following day for medical examination. iNDBCBNCSr.— DanieI Smith and Elizabeth j Yates were eonv'cted of committing an acfc of indecency in view of a public place at Papanui, and sentenced lo one month's hard labour, the Bench remarking that they would not give offenders of this description the option of a fine. ■
