GrBEYMOUTH, Jttkb 9. There appears to be no doubt as to the excellent prospects obtained at the new rush at Scotchman's Terrace, north of Barrytown. Several returned miners washed prospects from Allen's cliim, jielding from four to eight pennyweights to the dish. Letters have been also received in town confirming the statements. A good many miners are flocking there from Bimu and Kumara. Jckh 10. Miners keep dropping in, bound for the new rush.
fit may be well to remark that in all pro* bability every inch of good ground has by this time been pegged out, and that late arrivals may, consequently, exponent* bitter disappointment.— Ed. Star.]
