The price asked for French Italian prevonted sales being effected. Rape aeed showed an upward tendency. Linseed quiot. Canary aud hemp both cheaper, but slow sale. September's imports into the United Kingdom of clorer and grasses wore 10,677 cwt, vulno £17,301, against 11,729 ewt, valuo £22,346 for September, 1181.
