with eight wickets down, and 441 rons to their credit. Barnes and Mr Ternon, the not out men on Saturday, took their places at the wickets. The latter added 12 to his score, and was then bowled for 24. Barnes was caught for 12, and Morley was not out, 2 ; total, 461. The New South Wales team then commenced their second inningß, but only succeeded in putting togetlfcr 165, and the English Eleven thus won the match in one innings, with 144 to spare. 1 The following is the New South Wales score : —
