THE BURNED MAIL.

[The following important details appeared in our third edition of Saturday, and are republished for general information.J WELLINGTON, Sum. 23. Relative to the burned mails, the Secretary for the Post-office informs me that the mails are always sent Home as eorted, in five divisions. The first dmsion comprises those for London and its district, which includes all places served by the letter oarriers, and also the continental mails forwarded from London. _hese are supposed to be safe. The second division is the Liverpool distriot mails, including all places circulating from Liverpool, and extending as far as Wolverhampton, and taking in no inconsiderable portion of England. These also are supposed to be safe. The third division is the Irish mails, whioh are sent to Dublin j and the fourth division is the Scotch mails, which are sent to Glasgow. These also are supposed to be uninjured. The fifth diviiion is specially called the country mail, and embraces that portion of Great Britain not included in the other four. It is this mail for that part of the country whioh is supposed to have sustained the ohief injury. ■
