The high reputation enjoyed by the JohnßtonHarvestor Company in regard to their Mowers and Beapers, is a guarantee that their Harvester and Binder will be a welcome maohine to Agriculturists. This machine, introduced a few years since, being the first practicable Btring-Binder, ii this year greatly improved, and will recommend itself on the following points :— It operates automatically, thereby delivering the bundles of uniform size. The superior manner of compressing the iheaf. The reliability of the knotting arrangement. The manner of delivering the sheaf, and the perfect oontrol the driver kas over the maohine. It has a device for packing the grain, which is by far the best in use. This device relievei the strain on the binding string, thus rendering the tyer perfectly reliable. The Maohine has many important points not to be found in any other Binder, viz. :— Beth ends, at the same time, can be raised or lewered by the driver from his seat.
