To-day the barometer is mire steadily. Weather at 9 a.m. : — BlufF, light north* efibt wind, cloudy. Dunedin, light northvest wind, fine. Oamaru, calm, fine. Hoki« tika, calm, threatening. Boaley, frosh north* west wind, fine.
Sea : Smooth on oast coast ; heavy on west: coast.
High water at Lyttelton to-morrow:— Morning, 6.55 ; afternoon, 7.21. The following weather exchange was received last night : — " Now Zoaland : Fino, bat cloudj and passing showers, wind moderate from north-H-oet, except at the Bluff, whoro it is south-west, with low pressure. Australia : A slight depression prevails over Tasmania ; it is fine gonorfllly, but showery. Baroinotor —New Zealand : Busboll, 29*9 ; Wellington, ZO-6; Bluff, 293.
