LONDON, June 15.

The ship Min-y-don, which left Newcastle on Feb. 11 laßt for Lyttelton with a cargo of coal, and has not since been heard of, has been posted at Lloyd's. In the House of Common 3 to-day Mr G. O. Trevelyan, Chief Secretary for Ireland, replying to a question, admitted that there was an appalling increase in the number of evictions now taking place in Ireland.

MELBOURNE, June 16.

The concluding course for the Australian Cup was run to-day, and waß won by Proserpine.
