This machine, introduced a few years since, being th 9 first practicablo String-Binder, is this year greatly improved, and will recommend itself on the foUowing points :— It operates automatically, thereby delivering the bundles of uniform size. The superior manner of compressing the oheaf. The reliability of the knotting arrangement. The manner of delivering the Bheaf, and ths perfect control the driver has over the machine. It has a device for packing the grain, which is by far the bost in use. This device relieves the strain on the binding string, thus rendering the tyer perfectly reliable. Ths Machine has many important points not to be found in any other Binder, viz. : — Both ends, at the same time, can be raised or lowered by the driver from his seat. Changeable speed to the Beel. The Gearing is all outside of main wheel, thus balancing the machine perfectly, and avoiding side draught. Direct motion to the knife. Owing to the peculiar construction, the Beel chain on the inside of main wheel is dispensed with ; the draught of the maohine is ighter; the knife easier changed; the •machine runs more smoothly, and is far mors nnder the control of the driver from his seat, ifean is any other Binder.
