TO THE PUBLIC— We beg to tender our sincere thanks for your liberal patronage during the six years in whion we have carried on business in the Old Wealeyan Chapel, known more generally as The Hall. The building has been removed to make room for larger and more convenient premises, to meet the demand of our continually increasing trade. During the three months required to complete the New Hall, we do not intend to lose our trade, or any of our customers. Having on our hands over £8000 worth of Drapery, Millinery, Clothing, &c, besides any quantity of new goods yet to arrive, we have made up our minds to lose several hundred pounds rather than our connecbion, bo will offer the whole stock at considerably under wholesale prices. We have been selling cheap goods, but now intend to sell much cheaper. Our bargains shall be spoken of in every house in Canterbury. We have taken the Bee Hive, next door to The Hall, for the sale of Millinery, Drapery, Dresses, &o. ; also Crerar and Whitcombe's shop, next to Bashford'sconfectionery shop, in Colombo street, for the sale of Men's and Boys' Clothing and Drapery ; and Hudson and Ridley's store, in Manchester street, corner of St. Asaph street, on the left hand side going down to the railway station, for the sale of Drapery and Bargains. With these three places of business, we trust to dispose of our goods, and guarantee to well repay anyone for the trouble of finding us out.
